My husband took me here for my birthday, and we had a truly wonderful experience. I order the Cobia with purple sticky rice and asparagus, an incredible dish. I wanted to try something new, and I was very impressed with the food. The service was excellent; our server was kind and knowledgeable of the menu and the wine list. The Death by Chocolate dessert was personalized for my birthday :) I even called back a few weeks later b/c I'd forgotten the name of the wine we'd had with our dinner. They literally have hundreds of wines, but the manager was able to give me the exact name and year of the chardonnay I had, given only what I could recollect from the bottle appearance! I would definitely go back.

SUCH A CUTE PLACE! My family and I were in Williamsburg for vacation. My boyfriend and I ate here for lunch 2 days. Very good food and a decent cost. Recommend their White Wine Sangria!

Best burger I have had in a long time!! We went to Trellis while wandering around Colonial Williamsburg Christmas shopping. The service, price, and food were all excellent!! It seemed to be a place where families could enjoy a meal with several kid friendly options as well as several fancier adult entrees. Small, one page menu, nothing crazy, American bistro type options. Interesting cocktail and coffee menu. Would be a fun, quiet place for a date or weeknight meal.

Amazing lunch spot with amazing food in Williamsburg!!! We got the fried oysters and mussels as an appetizer, a club sandwich with fries (fries were seasoned to perfection), and split the death by chocolate cake for the table!!!! Amazing draft root beer as well!!!

We stopped in to this restaurant while visiting Williamsburg on vacation, and I am glad we did. The service was very friendly and the establishment was clean. They catered effortlessly to my 1 year old daughter's dairy allergy. We stepped out of our comfort zone to try something new and the staff was more than happy to make the minor alterations we asked for. When my 4 year old niece started to get antsy, the server took notice and appeared out of no where with some crayons and book to color on. The food was phenomenal and definitely a highlight of my trip.

Was originally going to come to the Fat Canary across the street, but it was W & M's graduation and they were completely booked, so I wandered into this establishment. At the outset, the decorations and ambience is lovely! The restaurant has a bright and airy feel and a general "cheeriness", I can't really think of any other adjective to describe it. Service was prompt and our meals came out quite quickly. There is quite a selection of bread before your meal including scrumptious corn bread. The Salad was yummy and our main course (cheese tortellinis) was both a sizable portion and was quite tasty and filling. Was pleased that an upscale restaurant like this offered free drink refills on iced tea and soda.

AWESOME! Chicken BBQ sandwich was wonderful, staff friendly, bathrooms clean and dining area quaint and cozy. Priced as expected. Death by Chocolate Cake worth it ALL!

The amount of bad reviews is confusing me. I've visited the Trellis multiple times during the last 4 years and enjoyed it every time and so did the people accompanying me. Today, I ordered the duck hash and my mother ordered the French toast. We loved it! The price was great (11 for a breakfast dish that we barely had room to finish) and the atmosphere was nice. Bright, airy, the colours and decor complemented each other well. Our server was very attentive, timely, and friendly. We will definitely be back there for breakfast and dinner again.
